Objectives
This course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles of leadership, an opportunity for participants to reflect on their own leadership roles by reference to those principles, and will assist participants in developing successful leadership behaviours.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course participants will be able, through the development of a leadership action plan, to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of the key concepts of leadership
- How their own beliefs and values contribute to their success as a leader
- Skills to form relationships through rapport, influencing and networking
- Skills to inspire others through the use of open and constructive communication
Delivery
Introduction to leadership is usually delivered as a one-day course.
