Resident and Service User Involvement
We are strongly committed to the principles of Service User Involvement, having seen the benefits that this brings both to Service Users themselves and the organisations which make the effort to engage with them. The diagram below is a good example, showing the benefits of service user involvement in the context of social housing.

 


Skills & Projects has worked at the strategic level with national and local organisations helping them develop an approach to involvement and consultation.

We have also worked extensively with service users to support their involvement and participation; working for example with the tenants of Ellesmere Port & Neston Borough Council, Sheffield City Council, Canning Town and Customs House and the staff of Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council.

  We developed our own Communications Tracking solution to support and make the most of service user involvement strategies. Originally developed for use in the Social Housing environment it is appropriate for any organisations seeking to achieve excellent service levels.
