Research for Innisfree Housing Association
Research to identify support needs within the Irish community
Skills and Projects ran this project in 2007 with Innisfree to expand their services to new areas outside of Brent (in north and west London) and help establish a client-base that can receive direct benefit from this development.
Innisfree is a housing association that provides support for vulnerable Irish people. Their services range from help with form filling and claiming benefits to finding suitable housing, finding education, training or work and accessing health care. At the moment their services are available mainly to the Irish people living in the borough of Brent.
Through the media and agencies that work directly with the people, we:
- identified and built a waiting list of clients in the adjacent boroughs
- ensured the sustainability of Innisfree‘s work in Brent.
