Benchmarking
Our benchmarking system was developed in 2006 with members of the g320 group in London to provide a cost-effective benchmarking system designed specifically to meet the needs of small organisations.
We now support four benchmarking clubs with over forty-five members in total.
We use a web-based system for our subscribers to input performance data and compare themselves with similar organisations. The system is simple to use, and there are clear definitions for the performance indicators.
Skills & Projects check the data and provide quarterly and annual performance reports for each subscriber.
Subscribers can also create their own reports from the system, choosing which indicators to include, and which other organisations to compare against. These reports can be used to report to boards and residents as well as to support the activities of benchmarking clubs.
Skills & Projects support benchmarking clubs and individual subscribers on a flexible basis, so they do not find themselves paying for things they can do for themselves.
Feedback from members has been excellent, and the member organisations clearly value the opportunity to meet and network with colleagues from similar organisations, share ideas and learn from each other.
Benchmarking performance has launched a number of spin-off activities, such as the salary comparison and resident satisfaction services which are not restricted to benchmarking club members.
