"I enjoyed your style and methods hugely."

Fran Woodard, Director Modernisation Initiative

"I found the process simple and well managed. Colleagues at Skills & Projects are helpful and very competent which made for conducive working. Skills & Projects were clear about timetables and delivery and were well organised. Work was delivered on time and on budget. They ran the benchmarking meetings efficiently and effectively. The training given has been clear and was given a good rating by staff at Ducane."

Mike Wilkins, CEO Ducane HA and chair of g320

Skills & Projects

We are a London and Brighton-based consultancy that specialises in working with social organisations, notably those involved in housing, education and community regeneration.

Every client is different, and every project we undertake is different, but we always aim to make a significant and positive difference for our clients, whether it is through a piece of research, staff development, designing a database or running a workshop.

We have worked with national bodies and regulators, local authorities, primary care trusts, small charities and housing associations.

Work in progress (September/October)

Our benchmarking service for smaller housing associations (SPBM) now has 60 subscribers. SPBM members can view their performance data on the HouseMark PI Tracking system and compare themselves to the rest of the sector. They can also access the wealth of good practice resources that are available through HouseMark.

In particular we are working with a goup of specialist smaller housing associations to develop a set of performance indicators specifically for our members who provide Support.

We are carrying out a satisfaction survey of tenants and service users for Apna Ghar Housing Association. The survey will run from 17 September for six weeks.

We have recently completed a review of tenant involvement and empowerment on behalf of the TSA and in partnership with HouseMark. The review has been published as ‘Making Voices Count‘. Click here to download a PDF copy.

We are working with Mount Green Housing Association helping to design and deliver this years Residents Conference‘. One of the key themes for this year is to develop a mystery shopping service with residents.
